Who We Are?

The Latin America and the Caribbean Methane Emissions Observatory
(OEMLAC)
is an initiative of the Latin American and Caribbean Energy Organization (OLACDE).

We provide support to countries in the region in creating and strengthening the conditions necessary to manage their methane emissions in the energy sector.

Through technical advice, training, data collection, and coordination among governments, businesses, and international organizations, we contribute to the transition toward low-emission development.
