The study Low-Emission Natural Gas in Latin America and the Caribbean<\/b> analyzes the natural gas value chain in the region (upstream, midstream, and downstream), quantifies its greenhouse gas emissions\u2014particularly methane\u2014and evaluates reduction scenarios through 2050. It proposes the certification of Low-Emission Natural Gas (LENG), estimates the associated investment needs, and presents a roadmap with ambition levels, certification alternatives, and institutional arrangements to align the natural gas industry with LAC\u2019s decarbonization commitments.<\/p>\n<\/div>
